Head Cashier
Job summary
The Head Cashier is responsible for overseeing all cashiering activities, ensuring accurate financial transactions, and maintaining effective cash control within the organization. The role supervises cashiers, manages daily sales reconciliation, and ensures excellent customer service at the point of sale.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers
- Oversee daily cash transactions and ensure accuracy
- Reconcile cash, POS, and other payment records at the end of each shift
- Ensure proper issuance of receipts and accurate billing
- Monitor cash flow and handle cash deposits
- Resolve customer payment issues and discrepancies
- Train and guide junior cashiers on procedures and best practices
- Maintain records of daily sales and financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
- Report any irregularities or shortages to management
Requirements:
- OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in cashiering or retail finance
- Strong numerical and cash handling skills
- Experience with POS systems and basic accounting processes
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good leadership and supervisory skills
- Strong integrity and reliability
- Good communication and customer service skills
