Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities:

• Build the core backend and web application for the MVP and PoC environments.
• Develop scalable APIs, authentication flows, and lightweight data pipelines.
• Implement media handling (e.g., uploading photos from the mobile web app).
• Integrate simple OCR services (cloud API or open-source) into the workflow.
• Work with temporary data stores (Airtable/Sheets) and prepare for migration to relational or NoSQL DBs (PostgreSQL / Firestore).
• Build stable transactional logic and multi-step validation flows.
• Collaborate closely with the frontend/mobile developer to deliver a smooth user experience.
• Maintain clean, testable code and clear documentation.

Requirements:

• Experience with OCR APIs (Google Vision, AWS Textract, Tesseract, etc.).
• Experience with payment platform integrations or webhook-based flows (e.g., Paystack, Flutterwave).
• Knowledge of batch/lot tracking workflows or operational data models.
• Previous startup or greenfield project experience.
• Work directly with decision-makers and shape the MVP from the ground up.
