Role Description

This is a full-time Fixed Income Trader role located on-site in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Fixed Income Trader will be responsible for executing fixed income trading strategies, analyzing market trends, and managing risk. The role involves building and maintaining client relationships, monitoring fixed income portfolio performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance portfolio returns.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2–4 years fixed income trading experience
• Demonstrable arbitrage / relative-value experience (curve trades, switch trades, cash-and-carry, funding vs yield).
• Strong Excel modelling (scenario analysis, pricing); Bloomberg proficiency.
• Knowledge of market microstructure, auctions, FMDQ practices, settlement/operations both in domestic and international market.
• ACI Dealing Certificate (or in progress) is an advantage; strong ethics and risk discipline.
