Job Summary
We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced Finance Officer to manage the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing budgets, monitoring expenditures and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Monitor daily transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations such as tax filings, audits, and other regulatory requirements
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Provide financial insights and reports to management to support decision-making
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and controls.
- Adhere to Browncon policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Related Field
- Professional Certification (ICAN, ACCA, etc.) is an added advantage
- Proven experience in a finance or accounting role
- proficient in accounting software (Quickbooks, Sage, or Similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
