Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Oversee day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions
- Analyze financial data to guide business decisions and ensure profitability
- Implement financial controls and procedures to support scaling operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project finance, funding, and costing
- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting
- Drive automation and optimization of financial systems and workflows
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/ACCA/CPA is a plus)
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably within the energy, power, or infrastructure sector
- Proven track record in team leadership, financial modeling, and strategic planning
- Solid knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and financial regulations
