Finance Manager
Job summary
The finance manager will oversee the organisation's financial health and manage day-to-day accounting, grant tracking, and annual budgets. She will ensure funds are used according to donor restrictions, maintain regulatory compliance, and provide reports to the board and stakeholders to support the organisation's mission.

Responsibilities:
- Grant & Fund Management: Track, monitor, and report on restricted funds and specific grants. Ensure expenditures align with donor regulations and budget milestones.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop annual organisational budgets and project-specific budgets. Provide regular cash flow forecasts and variance analyses.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Present clear financial insights to non-financial stakeholders and the Board of Directors.
- Compliance & Audit Preparation: Manage the annual independent audit and tax return filings. Ensure adherence to GAAP and local legal or tax-exempt status requirements.
- Day-to-Day Accounting: Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and internal financial controls. Maintain the chart of accounts and accounting systems.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years in non-profit finance, accounting, or grants management.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration. ACA certification is essentially required.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel and experience with accounting/fund-accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Familiarity with funder regulations (e.g., UN, USAID, EU, or localised foundation rules).
- Excellent communication, cross-team collaboration, and strategic problem-solving abilities.
Remuneration: NGN 600,000-900,000 Monthly
