Job Summary

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage the finance and accounting functions of the company. You will maintain the books of accounts, prepare and monitor the budget, and maintain effective internal cost control system. You will prepare financial statements and generate other operating reports.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:


Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and models.
  • Analyze financial performance to support strategic decision-making.


Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and best practices.


Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

  • Monitor company cash flow, liquidity, and banking operations.
  • Optimize working capital and ensure financial stability.


Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations, audit requirements, and relevant financial laws.


Cost Control & Profitability:

  • Track expenditures and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Drive initiatives to improve profit margins and financial efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align departmental and organizational financial objectives.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams.
  • Streamline processes and implement best practices for operational excellence.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in finance leadership roles.
  • High level of maturity, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of team development and process improvement.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially aware.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or SAGE, advanced Excel skills, and other financial tools.
