Finance Controller

Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of the company’s funding strategy and effective utilization of funds within specific business cycles.
• Management of the company’s financial stakeholders with the objective of guaranteeing profitability as defined by different stakeholders.
  
• Preparation of the Company's Annual Budget, and long-term financial strategies, and preparation of monthly budget variance report.
  
• Ensuring the availability of funds required for the Company's operations, managing relationships with Financial Institutions, and optimization  of the company's  Working capital
  
• Preparation of the Company's Financial Statements and Management Reports for Monthly, quarterly and Annual reviews of performance
  
• Protecting the Company's margins through a reduction in Net Financing costs, control of operational costs, maximizing income, and assisting management to achieve  its  Earnings objectives
• Ensuring adequacy of Internal control / Administrative systems to safeguard the company's assets  / achieve organizational efficiency and liaising with external auditors / regulatory authorities.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of B.Sc./ HND in accounting or relevant course.
  
• Minimum of 8 post-graduation years of experience
• Professional Qualifications from Relevant International and Local bodies.
  
• Proficient in the use of Enterprise-wide Accounting Applications such as SAGE or SAP an.d Ms. Office packages and PowerPoint Presentation
• Sound Understanding of Cost Accounting and Corporate Finance
  
• Excellent Financial Analysis, Interpretation, and Reporting Skills
  
• Verifiable Experience in Managerial Accounting and Financial Management
  
• Understanding of effective Internal control systems and profitability in management
• Excellent Business Growth Finance and Growth Profitability
  
• Computer-based Financial Data Management Skills
  
• Accounting Software Implementation and Management Skills
