Finance Analyst

Responsibilities:

• The candidate will be responsible for developing financial models and valuations to determine the economic viability and profitability of business prospects.
• The candidate will continuously monitor project cost and analyze assumptions to ensure that the financial performance and feasibility of each project is maintained over the life-cycle of the project.
• The candidate will be responsible for the preparation of project financing documents from conception to execution.
• The candidate will be responsible for initiating and executing stakeholder management strategies that help build positive relationships between the company and its various stakeholders.
• The candidate will be responsible for gathering and coordinating end-to-end financial due diligence requirements and preparing project funding documents. 
• The candidate will support the preparation of management accounts.
• The candidate will be required to assist with any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of a First degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Professional membership (Professional membership of ICAN, ACCA, or CFA) is an advantage.
  
• 4 - 6 years relevant work experience.
  
• Previous working experience in Consulting (Audit or Finance), Manufacturing, or Energy Sector. 
• Working knowledge of project financing (especially in the Energy Sector).
  
• Strong Analytical and Financial modelling skills with advanced Excel and other analytical tools knowledge of Microsoft Packages.
• Working knowledge of Accounting Software packages.
• Good knowledge of Management Account Preparation (especially in the Energy Sector).
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
  
• Excellent intelligence gathering and networking skills. 
• Able to solve problems with in-depth analysis and capabilities. 
• Impressive and convincing presentation skills with external stakeholders.
• Great people skills and able to work as a team player.
• Proven experience of working with minimum supervision.

Remuneration: NGN 500,000 Net
