External Auditor

Responsibilities:

• Provides assurance services to our portfolio of private owner-managed company clients.
• Plan, execute, and report on financial, operational, and compliance audits
• Identify areas of risk and recommend control improvements
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement
• Develop and maintain audit programs and checklists
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that auditing objectives are met
• Prepare clear, concise, and accurate audit reports
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management and key stakeholders
• Stay abreast of current auditing standards and best practices
• Executes risk-based audit approach and leads audit teams during the fieldwork.
• Provides a variety of non-assurance services to our clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 3+ years of external audit experience.
• ICAN / ACCA qualification is an advantage.

• Fluent in English.
• Excellent accounts preparation skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Computer experience - Excel, Word, Outlook, CaseWare, Sage, Xero Quick books or other bookkeeping software
• Previous experience of leading junior members of staff
• Good up-to-date technical knowledge including recent developments in accounting and auditing standards
• Ability to deal with variety of people in different environments

Salary: ₦150,000.00 - ₦200,000.00 per month
