Job Summary
We’re currently in our build phase and are looking for a digital marketing leader to drive awareness, build trust, and grow our waitlist before launch. As Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll own everything related to digital visibility, content creation, and lead generation. Your mission is to build a strong digital presence and execute growth campaigns that get us to our first 2,500 qualified leads.

Job Description/Requirements
- Develop and execute a digital marketing strategy aligned with business goals (especially lead generation).
- Design and run paid and organic campaigns across Meta, Google, and X (formerly Twitter).
- Work closely with operations and product teams to align messaging with features, personas, and launch timelines.
- Create engaging, relatable content for small business owners in Nigeria (reels, carousels, tweets, blog posts, email sequences).
- Oversee content calendar (weekly and monthly), ensuring consistency across platforms.
- Manage influencer collaborations and potential partnerships.
- Drive traffic to our waitlist landing page using social, SEO, paid ads, partnerships, and referral strategies.
- Build lead magnets, email nurturing flows, and conversion-optimized landing pages.
- Track, measure, and report performance of all campaigns.
- Analyze traffic, conversion rates, and lead quality to refine strategy.
- Present weekly updates with data-backed recommendations.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a SaaS or fintech startup.
- Proven experience growing an early-stage product from zero to significant lead traction.
- Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, social ads, and funnel conversion.
- Excellent writing, content creation, and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Zoho Marketing Automation etc.
- Creative, self-starter mindset with a bias for action and experimentation.
- Bonus: experience working with products targeting Nigerian SMBs
- Acquire 2,500 qualified leads for our waitlist database before product launch.
- Minimum 35% of leads should be from organic sources (social, referral, content).
- Create and publish 3–4 content pieces per week across social platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn).
- Achieve consistent growth in followers and engagement rate by 10–15% MoM.
- Maintain average open rate of 30%+ and click-through rate of 5%+.
- Build email sequences that convert leads to active users post-launch.
- You’ll be at the forefront of a fintech product solving real pain points for African businesses.
- Your work will directly shape our brand and growth trajectory.
- You’ll work closely with the founding team, gaining insight into product, strategy, and early-stage growth.
