Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Controller to manage and monitor all financial aspects related to cost control within our restaurant and sports lounge. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a good understanding of hospitality operations, and the ability to manage inventory, pricing, and budgeting

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily costs of food, beverages, and other inventory to ensure alignment with budget and operational goals.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Analyze variances between actual and expected costs and highlight discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing monthly cost reports and cost of sales analysis.
- Work closely with purchasing, kitchen, and finance teams to track and control waste, spoilage, and usage.
- Maintain updated costing data for all menu items, ingredients, and supplies.
- Review supplier invoices, pricing, and contracts for accuracy.
- Implement and support internal controls related to inventory and purchasing processes.
- Recommend cost-saving strategies and contribute to pricing decisions.
- Use accounting software and Excel to manage cost data and reporting.
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Cost Controller, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, cost control, and food & beverage operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
