Corporate Driver

Responsibilities:

Transportation & Delivery

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport clean and soiled laundry between clients, production facilities, warehouses, and corporate offices.
• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries based on assigned schedules or customer requirements.
• Load and unload laundry bags, carts, or packaged linens, ensuring proper handling to avoid contamination or damage.

Customer Service

• Interact politely and professionally with clients during pickups and deliveries.
• Confirm delivery receipts, sign-offs, and customer notes; communicate any order discrepancies to the operations team.
• Maintain a positive company image by adhering to dress code, cleanliness, and courtesy standards.

Vehicle Care & Maintenance

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical issues promptly and coordinate with fleet maintenance teams.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, fueled, and fully compliant with safety regulations.

Operational Support

• Follow route plans, delivery logs, and company dispatch instructions.
• Assist in sorting, labeling, or moving inventory when not on the road.
• Adhere to laundry handling guidelines, including separation of clean and soiled items.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery times, and incidents.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Comply with traffic laws, company driving policies, and hygiene standards specific to laundry operations.
• Follow safety procedures when handling materials, especially medical or industrial laundry (if applicable).
• Participate in periodic training on defensive driving and sanitation requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience as a professional driver (preferably in logistics, courier, or service delivery roles).
• Ability to lift and move laundry bags and carts (20–40 kg depending on company policy).
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
• Good communication, punctuality, and customer service skills.
