Responsibilities:
Fleet Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations of all company vehicles.
- Ensure optimal vehicle allocation and utilization.
- Monitor vehicle movement and usage to prevent misuse.
- Coordinate dispatch and routing to improve efficiency.
Vehicle Maintenance & Safety:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure vehicles undergo regular servicing, inspections, and repairs.
- Maintain records of maintenance history and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and road regulations.
- Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions.
Driver Management:
- Supervise and coordinate drivers.
- Ensure drivers comply with company policies and traffic laws.
- Monitor driver performance, behavior, and fuel usage.
- Organize driver training programs on safety and efficiency.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all vehicles have valid licenses, insurance, permits, and inspection certificates.
- Maintain accurate fleet documentation and regulatory records.
- Ensure compliance with transportation and safety regulations.
Cost Control & Budgeting:
- Monitor fuel consumption and implement fuel control measures.
- Manage fleet budgets, including maintenance and operational costs.
- Negotiate contracts with service providers, mechanics, and fuel suppliers.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
- Prepare fleet performance reports for management.
- Track KPIs such as fuel efficiency, downtime, maintenance costs, and accident rates.
- Recommend improvements to enhance fleet efficiency and reduce risks.
Requirements:
- Minimum BSc.
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
