Job summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver with 1-2 years of experience to join our team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving company vehicles, ensuring safe transportation of passengers, and maintaining the vehicle in good working conditions. The driver will report to the Fleet/Operations Manager and ensure that all transportation duties are carried out while meeting all regulatory, safety, and commercial objectives.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport passengers to various locations within Lagos and surrounding areas.
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and clean at all times.
- Conduct regular checks on the vehicle (e.g., oil, tire pressure, brakes) to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Report any mechanical issues or damages to the fleet/operations manager promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods or materials if needed.
- Ensure timely arrivals and departures for scheduled appointments or tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional attitude while on duty.
- Handle vehicle documentation, such as insurance papers and licenses.
- Keep accurate records of fuel usage, trip details, and vehicle maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience.
- Valid Nigerian driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Good knowledge of Lagos Mainland and Island roads and traffic patterns.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Punctual and reliable with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Physical fitness and good health to handle long hours of driving.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Must be flexible and available to work on weekends or outside of regular office hours if needed.
- Residence on the island most preferable.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with GPS systems and mobile apps for navigation.
- Experience with driving different makes and models of vehicles (e.g., SUVs, vans, etc.) is a plus.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with different teams.
