Truck Driver
Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and responsible Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently within and outside Lagos while ensuring proper handling and maintenance of the assigned truck.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and operate company trucks to deliver goods to designated locations on time.
- Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and transported without damage.
- Plan routes effectively and adhere to delivery schedules.
- Conduct daily inspection of the truck including brakes, tyres, oil, water, and lights.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and delivery notes.
- Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Report any accidents, mechanical faults, or delivery issues promptly to the supervisor.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the truck.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE qualification.
- A valid driver's licence and Class G and LASDRI certification is compulsory.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience driving trucks within Lagos and interstate.
- Good knowledge of Lagos roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
- Ability to handle long-distance driving and basic truck maintenance.
- Must be disciplined, honest, punctual, and physically fit.
- No history of reckless driving or criminal record.
- Must be able to provide a reliable guarantor.
- Must reside in Lagos.
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Remuneration: NGN 200,000 Monthly
