Job Overview

As a Consulting Sector Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the consulting team by providing valuable insights, conducting in-depth research, and delivering strategic recom­men­da­tions to clients. You will be respon­sible for gathering and analysing data, identi­fying trends, and preparing reports to assist in decision-making processes. This position requires strong analy­tical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work colla­bo­ra­tively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Key respon­si­bi­lities

Gather, organize and analyze large sets of data from primary inves­ti­gation via industry inter­views and secondary resources such as financial reports, industry databases and other publicly available sources.  Utilize statis­tical techniques and analy­tical tools to identify patterns, trends and corre­la­tions within the data especially in the oil&gas and energy sector.  Develop and maintain compre­hensive databases and models to facilitate data analysis and modeling.  Monitoring industry news, publi­ca­tions and reports to stay apprised with market develo­p­ments in Nigeria, major African and European economies.  Assist and colla­borate with an inter­na­tional team of consul­tants for designing and executing research metho­do­logies tailored to specific client engagements.  Prepare clear and compelling presen­ta­tions, reports and visua­liz­a­tions to effec­tively commu­nicate findings to the client.  Contribute to the develo­pment of innovative approaches and frame­works to solve complex business problems.

Qualification

Bache­lor’s degree in Business Adminis­tration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.  Proven experience minimum of 2 years as an analyst in the consulting, market research, or a related field.  Strong analy­tical skills and profi­ciency in data analysis tools, such as MS Suite, Power BI or any other statis­tical software.  Knowledge of research metho­do­logies, statis­tical techniques, and business analysis frameworks.  Excellent written and verbal commu­ni­cation skills, with the ability to present complex infor­mation in a clear and concise manner.  Ability to work independently and colla­bo­ra­tively in an inter­na­tional team environment.  Strong attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.  Familiarity with the consulting industry and under­standing of business strategy concepts.  Adapta­bility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.  Demons­trated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges. 

This role is open to Nigerian Nationals.
The location is ILF Nigeria office in Lagos.
