Client Relations Officer
Job summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Client Relations Officer to manage client interactions, ensure timely loan repayments, and support business growth through effective relationship management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging clients and maintaining strong connections to drive customer retention
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify and recruit new clients for loans, savings, and other financial products
- Conduct field verification and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks.
- Perform credit assessments and background checks on prospective clients.
- Monitor loan utilization to ensure funds are used for approved purposes.
- Follow up on loan repayments and manage delinquent accounts.
- Maintain accurate client records and update management information systems.
- Educate clients on financial products, repayment schedules, and terms.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Previous experience in microfinance, banking, or loan recovery is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good numerical and analytical ability
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
