Job Description/Requirements

  • Set up, direct and oversee all aspects of the fiancĂ© & accounting functions of the organization
  • Work closely with investment advisors to provide executive management and the Board of Trustees with advice on management of the investment portfolio and takes all board approved actions regarding the portfolio
  • Ensure credibility of finance and accounting group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets financial trends and forecasts
  • Provide executive leadership insight in the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives and offer recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities
  • Demonstrate business acumen in supporting senior leaders of the business in managing their business units and making impactful business decisions
  • Acts as a sounding board for management decisions, group strategy and advises against risky or potentially unprofitable ventures.
  • Participate in developing new business and assist the CEO and COO in the drafting of prospective budgets, identifying new funding opportunities, and determining the cost-effectiveness of prospective service delivery. This will include working with other key senior persons of the organization to ensure financial and operational success through cost-benefit analysis along with compliance with all related contractual requirements.
  • Work with the President/CEO on the long-term strategic vision of the company which includes fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships across various levels
  • Provide commercial support to the business on contracts with customers, suppliers, and service providers as well as assist in the development and negotiation of contracts.
  • Responsible for managing internal stakeholders including the Board, Shareholders and Group Executives as well as external stakeholders including Banks, Auditors, Lawyers and Insurers.
  • Provide leadership in the development of performance criteria for the continuous evaluation of the Group financial strategy in line with the overall Business strategy
  • Provide oversight and control of financial performance, reporting, risk management, operations, governance and controls of all the Group
  • Ensure that decision makers are enabled through timely and accurate reporting of financial performance, financial trends and forecasts
