Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Timely submission of financial reports
- Accuracy of financial reports (minimal adjustments post-review)
- General Ledger Management
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; ensure all entries are posted correctly.
- Number of unreconciled entries
- Timeliness of monthly closing
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Manage AP/AR processes including invoice processing, follow-ups, and vendor/customer reconciliations.
- DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
- Timeliness in payment cycles
- Vendor/customer satisfaction
Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.); assist in timely filing of returns.
- Timely filing of returns
- Zero non-compliance penalties
Audit Support
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits; provide necessary documentation and clarifications.
- Audit readiness score
- Reduction in audit observations year-on-year
Budgeting & Forecasting Support
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts; compare actuals vs budgets and report variances.
- Accuracy of forecasts
- Timeliness of reporting variances
Process Improvement & Internal Controls
- Identify areas for improvement in accounting processes and internal controls; implement approved suggestions.
- Number of improvements implemented
- Reduction in manual errors
Cost Analysis & Financial Simulations
- Prepare cost analysis reports and perform financial simulations based on inputs provided by management. Support strategic decision-making.
- Quality and relevance of cost insights
- Timeliness and accuracy of simulations
