Job summary
The Chartered Accountant will oversee all financial activities of the company, ensuring accurate reporting, inventory accountability, compliance with tax regulations, and efficient financial management within an import/export trading environment. Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage inventory accounting and stock reconciliation (very critical for trading operations).
- Oversee import/export financial documentation and cost tracking.
- Handle tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, Company Income Tax, etc.).
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Implement and monitor internal financial controls.
- Provide financial insights to management for business decisions.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of the company's financial information.
Requirements:
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ACCA certified).
- Minimum of 2–3 years post-qualification experience.
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting.
- Strong accounting background in a trading company preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong inventory management experience.
- Calm, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
- High integrity and confidentiality.
- Ready to grow long-term with the company.

Remuneration: NGN 200,000
