Chartered Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records of the company and preparing financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. You will also be responsible for managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: You will be responsible for preparing budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances, and providing recommendations to management to ensure the financial health of the company.
• Tax Compliance: You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations and filing tax returns on a timely basis.
• Audit Coordination: You will be responsible for coordinating with external auditors and ensuring that all audit requirements are met.
• Financial Analysis: You will be responsible for analyzing financial data to identify trends, forecast future performance, and provide recommendations to management to improve financial performance.
• Internal Controls: You will be responsible for ensuring that the company has strong internal controls in place to prevent fraud and errors.
• Cash Management: You will be responsible for managing the company's cash flow and ensuring that there is sufficient cash available to meet the company's financial obligations.
• Compliance: You will be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and laws.
• Financial Planning and Analysis: You will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to management, including analyzing business performance, identifying opportunities for growth, and providing recommendations to improve financial performance.
• You will be expected to communicate financial information to stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and investors. You may also be responsible for managing a team of finance professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure that the team delivers high-quality results.

Requirements:

• This position is open preferably to a female candidate
• Minimum academic qualification of HND/BSc degree in accounting
• The candidate must be ICAN and ACA certified
• At least 5 years of experience
  
• Experience in Financial Reporting. Tax, auditing
• Excellent Math and Data-entry skills 
• Detail-oriented and sound numerical skills 
• A methodological approach and high problem-solving skills.

Remuneration: NGN 350,000 - 600,000
