Job summary
A Cashier is responsible for handling customer payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate records of transactions. They ensure smooth and efficient checkout operations while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Receive and process payments (cash, POS, transfer, or other methods)
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records
- Count money in the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts
- Resolve customer payment inquiries or issues
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Balance cash drawers and report discrepancies
- Assist customers with basic product or service information
- Work with the sales team to ensure smooth customer service
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND, or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role (preferred)
- Basic mathematics and numerical skills
- Honesty, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use POS systems and basic computer applications
