Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, drywall, and other materials to specifications.
- Assemble, install, and repair frameworks, structures, and fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to ensure accurate construction.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Inspect finished work for quality and make adjustments as needed to meet standards.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter
- Hands-on experience in working with carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
- Ability to draw and read technical documents
- Good understanding of basic maths
