Job Summary
The Business Development Strategist is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies that increase market share, revenue, and profitability for Orleans. This role will work closely with the Managing Director, and other members of the executive team to create and implement plans that support the company’s overall business objectives

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development plans in order to achieve assigned targets for new customer acquisition and revenue growth
- Research and build relationships with potential customers, partners, and investors
- Create and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences
- Negotiate and close deals with customers, partners, and investors
- Manage the sales pipeline and forecast sales activity and revenue
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and services
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders
- Stay up to date on industry trends and developments
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events on behalf of the company
- Write proposals, business plans, and other marketing materials
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
- Ability to persuade others to change their minds and behavior, and to give full attention to what other people are saying;
- Ability to be aware of others’ reactions and understand why they react as they do;
- Ability to take initiative (Job requires a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges)
- Ability to work Independently (Job requires developing one's own ways of doing things, guiding oneself with little or no supervision, and depending on oneself to get things done.
