We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (Private Sector) to lead growth initiatives, identify new business opportunities, and establish strong relationships with corporate clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, strategic partnerships, and revenue generation within the private sector.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Business Growth & Strategy:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company’s footprint in the private sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams across various industries.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and potential clients.


Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, executives, and procurement officers in corporate organizations.
  • Develop customized proposals and business presentations to pitch company products and services effectively.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and opportunities for upselling.


Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding sales targets through strategic deal-making.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal structuring with potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to enhance value propositions.


Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track business development activities, sales performance, and revenue metrics, providing regular reports to management.
  • Identify risks and challenges in the market and propose solutions to mitigate them.
  • Keep up to date with industry developments, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the private sector.
  • Proven track record of securing high-value deals and partnerships with corporate clients.
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations and proposals.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
