Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Strategy:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company’s footprint in the private sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams across various industries.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and potential clients.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, executives, and procurement officers in corporate organizations.
- Develop customized proposals and business presentations to pitch company products and services effectively.
- Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and opportunities for upselling.
Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding sales targets through strategic deal-making.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal structuring with potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to enhance value propositions.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track business development activities, sales performance, and revenue metrics, providing regular reports to management.
- Identify risks and challenges in the market and propose solutions to mitigate them.
- Keep up to date with industry developments, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the private sector.
- Proven track record of securing high-value deals and partnerships with corporate clients.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations and proposals.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
