Job summary

We are looking for an Business Devloper to drive our organization’s growth and sustainability by managing strategic funding opportunities, partnerships, and proposals. In this role, you will ensure the timely identification, evaluation, and execution of RFPs, grants, and partnership initiatives while coordinating cross-departmental inputs .

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities:
Opportunity & Pipeline Management:

  • Monitor global and local portals for grants, RFPs, and partnership opportunities.
  • Maintain a real-time pipeline tracker categorized by priority and deadline.
  • Conduct opportunity assessments and prepare concise internal briefs.
  • Build a market intelligence system to track funding trends and donor windows.


Proposal & Submission Management:

  • Lead end-to-end application processes from concept to final submission.
  • Facilitate design workshops for budgeting, data collection, and program needs.
  • Draft technical proposals, M&E frameworks, and budget narratives.
  • Coordinate inputs across Product, Finance, Operations, and Tech teams.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with donor templates and requirements.
  • Manage a library of reusable content, boilerplates, and organizational profiles.


Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Identify and engage donors, NGOs, government agencies, and private partners.
  • Manage partnership pipelines, MoUs, LOIs, and pre-engagement activities.
  • Represent the organization professionally in donor meetings and evaluations.


Knowledge Management & Reporting:

  • Maintain a repository of past projects, CVs, and policy documents.
  • Perform after-action reviews to identify lessons learned from every submission.
  • Track success rates and financial impact via a performance dashboard.


Strategic Growth Planning:

  • Design expansion strategies for new sectors, regions, and donor markets.
  • Support the development of new social-impact programs and solutions.
  • Analyze competitors and market landscapes to drive revenue diversification.


Requirements:

  • Minimum BSC.
  • 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
Business development sales or partnership management Google Workspace Microsoft Office Suite CRM tools and basic analytics
