Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Support nurses and physicians during examinations and medical procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and clinical areas.
- Observe and report changes in patients’ conditions to the supervising nurse.
- Assist in transporting patients within the facility when necessary.
- Ensure proper infection control practices and adhere to safety protocols.
- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their families.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Minimum of an OND
- Certificate in Auxiliary Nursing or relevant healthcare qualification.
- Valid registration with the appropriate nursing or health regulatory body (if applicable).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
