Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by recording daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Input financial data into accounting software and ensure the integrity and accuracy of information.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements, to provide insights into the company's financial status.
- Assist in tracking expenses against budgets and report any variances to management.
- Manage the issuance of invoices to clients and ensure timely processing of incoming invoices.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements to ensure consistency with recorded transactions.
- Aid in ensuring that all financial practices adhere to company policies and relevant regulations.
- Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends, anomalies, or areas for improvement.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to the finance department, such as organizing financial documents and scheduling meetings.
Requirements:
- Currently serving (NYSC) with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Basic accounting knowledge and Excel proficiency
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
