Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility is to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
- Facilitate and complete close procedures
- Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Work on analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
- Assist with financial and tax audits
- Preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
- Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls as well as assist with quarterly producer commission reports; analyzing & correcting discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of an Upper credit B.Sc / HND degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong understanding of accounting theory
- At least 7 years accounting/finance experience
- Highly detail oriented and organized in work
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines
- Great communication & interpersonal skill
- Must have ICAN for Snr Account
Remuneration: depending on the year's experience
