Farabale Food Company based in Lagos, is looking for a virtual accountant to bring our Zoho Books up to date for full year 2024 and the first half of 2025. The role requires reconciling transactions, attaching receipts, categorizing expenses, and preparing the books in line with FIRS and LIRS reporting expectations.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Import and reconcile all transactions from 2024 to June 2025
- Categorise income, expenses, and taxes correctly for VAT and PAYE compliance
- Attach supporting documentation (receipts, invoices) to entries
- Generate monthly and quarterly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports
- Organise books in line with FIRS (Federal Inland Revenue Service) and LIRS (Lagos Inland Revenue Service)reporting formats (including VAT, WHT, PAYE tracking if applicable)
- Ensure records are audit-ready and can support future tax filings
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Zoho Books
- Strong understanding of Nigerian tax requirements (FIRS, LIRS)
- Ability to handle digital records (bank statements, receipts, invoices)
- Familiarity with VAT, Withholding Tax, PAYE, and annual returns
- Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly
Timeline:
- Completion preferred within 2–4 weeks
- Weekly check-ins or progress reports required
