Job summary
The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate accounting practices in line with organizational policies and regulatory standards. The role supports financial planning, budgeting, and decision-making.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
- Handle payroll processing and staff reimbursements
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections
- Monitor expenses and ensure cost control
- Support management with financial analysis and advice
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years relevant work experience
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, ANAN) is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
