Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and other financial records regularly.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor budgetary control.
- Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Handle payroll processing and maintain employee records related to salaries, benefits, and deductions.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Stay updated with accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are a plus.
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
