Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Preparing and analysing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
• Auditing: Conducting internal audits, reviewing financial records, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing and managing budgets, forecasting future financial performance, and analysing variances.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements, general ledger entries, and other financial accounts.
• Tax Planning: Advising on tax strategies, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with tax laws.
• Financial Analysis: Analysing financial data to identify trends, assess performance, and make recommendations.
• Decision Support: Providing financial information and analysis to support business decisions.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Payroll Management: Processing payroll, tracking employee expenses, and managing related taxes.
• Cost Accounting: Analysing and managing costs to improve profitability.
