Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conducting internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Assisting with tax planning, compliance, and reporting, as well as liaising with external tax professionals.
• Performing reconciliations of financial accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends.
• Contributing to process improvements and implementing best practices within the finance department.
• Maintaining strict confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification is an added advantage 
• 2+  years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality.
