Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Accounting functions - billing, invoicing, AR/AP, general ledger,  financial statements, management reporting, compliance, tax returns, and administration. 
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities. 
  • Debt recovery and reconciliation. 
  • Monitor and categorize business expenses, ensuring that each cost is allocated to the appropriate account. 
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial data, avoiding errors in recording transactions.
  • Maintain a good filing system that will aid easy retrieval of documents  
  • Keep a record of vehicle maintenance and fuel consumption. 
  • Ensure proper utilization of vehicles at the office. 
  • Creating innovative ways to improve productivity and efficiencies to maximize profitability and facilitate growth. 
  • Monitor the work of back office personnel and coordinate the daily maintenance of the office premises as required. 
  • Provide support to other departments of the organization and manage admin-related matters.
  • Reviewing and managing the office budget and expenditures.
  • Ensure that company facilities, equipment, tools, and vehicles are judiciously used for the sole purpose. 
  • Any and all other duties assigned. 


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
  • BSc. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
