Accountant

Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for all the corporate financial and accounting functions of the company including, preparations of Monthly reports to the Central Bank and other Regulatory Agencies
• Preparation of Monthly Financial Statements, Budgets and Management Reports and also ensure compliance with statutory provisions.
• This is a demanding position that requires a lot of drive, creativity, team work, with strong cross cultural communication skills, coupled with an ability to complete a multiplicity of tasks and projects within tight deadlines is of paramount importance.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate must be between 30 - 35 years old
• Academic qualification of a good first degree (B.Sc./HND) and not lower than 2nd Class Lower Degree or Upper Credit in HND
• Candidate must be a member of one of the recognized Accounting Bodies, ACA, ACCA.
• Possession of an MBA will be an added advantage.
• Must have at least five (5) years cognate post qualification experience, three (3) of which must have been in Management position in a similar or large sized Microfinance Banks or other Financial Institutions within Nigeria.
• Must have the knowledge and experience of using modern specialised Accounting Packages.
• Evidence of completion/ exemption of / from NYSC is compulsory.

Location: Ikom, Cross river

Remuneration: NGN 3,000,000 - 3,600,000 (per annum)
