Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Lead tax compliance and liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; ACA/ACCA certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and leadership skills.
