Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Corporate tax function
• Prepare, organize, maintain, and produce financial records/reports as required
• Interact with the company’s collection agencies (shipping, Terminal agencies, etc.) on due accounts
• Create and ensure compliance with accounting and internal audit procedures
• Billing, costing, and reconciliation, implement ways to reduce cost enhance revenues, and improve profit for the company
• Develop and ensure that the company’s policies and records comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Manage the company’s financial system.
• Any other function as required by the company

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of HND/BSc in Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of working experience
• Must be knowledgeable of Sage 50
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and efficiency

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 monthly
