Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Take on the day-to-day tasks associated with AP and AR.
• Assist the Finance Manager with the monthly financial close process; this includes managing journal entries with data from a variety of sources, preparing work documents, reconciling accounts, and ensuring financial statements are accurate and published on time.
• Support Finance with budget and reporting tasks, including budget preparation, forecast reviews, and monthly actual vs. target analysis.
• Work with Finance to design and implement internal controls.
• Ongoing support for process improvements, such as implementing new tools and spending controls.

Requirements:

• You have had significant experience closing the books elsewhere; full-cycle accounting closing experience is a must.
• You have experience implementing internal controls.
• You know your way around a spreadsheet!
