Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Process financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and payments.
• Reconcile and maintain accurate records of financial transactions and accounts.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or issues.
• Prepare financial reports and statements for review by management.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
• Provide support during audits and financial inspections.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-4 years of work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Professional certification such as ICAN will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
