Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of our financial transactions, from daily bookkeeping to preparing and analyzing financial statements. Documents all financial transactions by entering accurate information from source documents to assigned accounts. Your keen eye for detail will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay on top of financial regulations and ensure our business practices align with industry standards. Prepare and file necessary reports, making sure the business operates smoothly within legal frameworks.
• Budget Mastery: Work closely with management to develop budgets, monitor spending, and provide insightful financial analysis. Your strategic financial guidance will play a pivotal role in shaping the fiscal direction of our business.
• Auditing Brilliance: Conduct internal audits to identify areas for improvement and implement robust internal controls. Monthly stock Valuation, Stock taking, Stock reconciliation, Budget monitoring. Monthly inventory stock counts and collation of reports.
• Your proactive approach will safeguard our financial processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Collaborative Spirit: Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive informed decision-making. Your ability to communicate complex financial information in a digestible manner will be crucial in fostering a financially informed culture.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of an HND in Accounting or Finance
• Any additional qualification can be an advantage
• Proven Experience: Minimum of 2- 3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the food industry.
  
• Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) to efficiently manage financial data.
• Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
