FoodandVeggies Mart is a healthy lifestyle brand that helps Nigerian families eat better, one meal at a time. We make fresh fruits and vegetables convenient: washed, cut, and ready for your kitchen. Our flagship channel is owned kiosks near major supermarkets in Port Harcourt, supported by home delivery, subscriptions, and B2B catering. We are pre-launch. Everything is being built from scratch: the kiosks, the production, the customer base, and the team. Job descriptions & requirements
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Maintain accounting systems and ensure data accuracy.
- Monitor and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- A minimum of an HND in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, ICAN, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Proven experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, SAP, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
