Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage the company's day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Receive, record, and reconcile customer payments (cash, transfers, POS, etc.).
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Manage petty cash and perform bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
- Ensure all financial records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
- Establish and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Handle statutory and regulatory accounting requirements where applicable.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Accounting. (Mandatory)
- Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC accounting experience. (Mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of accounting responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- ICAN/ATS certification or active pursuit of a professional accounting qualification is an added advantage.
Remuneration: NGN 250,000 - 400,000
