Job Summary
Our client is an Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and commissioning Company that provides services to the oil and gas, manufacturing, and construction industries. Its head Office is in Ikeja, Lagos. The company has been around for many years and is doing well. In view of recent growth and the need to meet new and key timelines, they have a need to add new and competent hands to their team.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor account balances.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in analysing financial data and presenting insights to management.
- Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions.
- Ensure adherence to tax laws and financial regulations.
- Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documents.
- Maintain records for tax filings and other financial obligations.
- Address inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account statements.
- Process payments, invoices, and purchase orders related to materials, subcontractors, and labour.
- Assist in tracking project expenses and comparing them with the budget to prevent overspending.
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and project accounts.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including profit/loss statements, cash flow reports, and project cost analysis.
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND
- Adequate accounting experience of at least 5 years with knowledge of applicable accounting software
- Preferred Gender: Male / Female
- Age Bracket: Btw 25 - 35
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
