Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and reviewing financial records.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws.
- Preparing budgets regularly.
- Monitoring expenditure and profits and providing reports.
- Evaluating internal management systems, procedures, and risks in order to provide recommendations.
- Managing business accounts and preparing financial statements.
Requirement:
- Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Good experience with double-entry principles of Accounting
- Work experience in Downstream, Upstream Oil & Gas Experience, Retail and Trading Experience would be of advantage.
- Experience in the use of ERP (e.g., Sage, SAP Enterprise, Microsoft Dynamics) would be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel,
- Candidate must be goal-oriented,
- Candidate must be an organized team player and possess a good work ethic.
- Age not above 35 years.
