Account Officer
Job summary
The Account Officer will support the finance department in managing day-to-day accounting activities. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, assisting with financial reports, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in recording daily financial transactions, including sales, expenses, and payments.
- Prepare and maintain proper documentation for invoices, receipts, and vouchers.
- Support payroll processing and staff expense reimbursements.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and cash records.
- Assist in stock and inventory record management.
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
- Assist during audits and financial reviews.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must reside in Kaduna.
- 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Knowledge of accounting software is an added advantage.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Communication and teamwork.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
