Web Designer / Web Developer – SounDisruptr

Starting Salary: ₦150,000 + performance incentives

BranDisruptr is our non-music marketing arm, extending the same campaign-driven, results-focused approach to creative brands, businesses, and entertainment companies beyond the music industry. As a Web Designer at SounDisruptr, you will serve clients across both arms of the business.
Role Summary
SounDisruptr is hiring a skilled, fast-moving Web Designer / Developer to design and build high-quality websites for our clients and manage our internal web presence.
This is a client delivery role. You will be building websites for music artists, creative brands, and entertainment businesses we serve across SounDisruptr, while also maintaining and improving our own platforms. Speed matters here. Quality matters more. The expectation is both, consistently.
You will work across multiple client projects simultaneously, take briefs from the marketing team, and deliver clean, conversion-focused websites without long back-and-forth cycles. If you need weeks to build a basic five-page site, this role is not for you.
Core Responsibilities
Client Website Design & Delivery
Design and build websites for clients across SounDisruptr including music artists, managers, creative brands, and entertainment businesses.
Handle multiple client projects simultaneously without drops in quality or missed deadlines.
Translate client briefs and brand references into fully functional, visually strong websites.
Deliver clean, mobile-optimised, fast-loading sites that represent the client's brand accurately.
Manage revision cycles professionally and efficiently without starting from scratch unnecessarily.
Internal Web Management
Maintain and update SounDisruptr's own platforms: soundisruptr.com, course.soundisruptr.com, and kevineze.com.
Build and optimise landing pages for marketing campaigns, ad funnels, and course launches.
Implement tracking, pixel setup, form integrations, and email platform connections across all sites.
AI-Powered Speed & Workflow
Actively use AI web design tools such as Lovable, Bold, Claude Code, or similar to reduce build time without sacrificing quality.
Stay current on tools that help deliver faster, better outputs and recommend adoption where relevant.
Bring a workflow mindset: templates, systems, and reusable components that make every next project faster than the last.
UI/UX & Conversion Quality
Apply strong UI/UX principles on every project: clear hierarchy, logical flow, readable typography, and well-placed calls to action.
Design with the end user in mind, not just the client's personal preference.
Audit pages for conversion gaps, usability problems, and brand inconsistencies.
Collaboration & Standards
Work directly with the creative and marketing teams to align web output with campaign goals.
Follow brand guidelines strictly on both internal and client projects.
Flag scope issues, technical blockers, or unrealistic timelines early.
Maintain organised file structures, site documentation, and handover notes for every project.
Key Skills & Requirements
Mandatory
Strong, proven proficiency in WordPress including theme customisation and plugin management.
Advanced Elementor experience: custom layouts, responsive design, and performance optimisation.
Solid HTML and CSS knowledge, must be able to write and edit code directly, not just point and click.
Demonstrable UI/UX design instinct with a portfolio of live, launched work.
Active use of AI-assisted design and development tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously without losing output quality.
Mobile-first design approach and cross-browser compatibility awareness.
Preferred
Basic to intermediate JavaScript or PHP.
Experience with WooCommerce, LMS plugins, or membership site builds.
Familiarity with Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and analytics setup.
Working knowledge of Figma for wireframing and mockups.
Understanding of on-page SEO and Core Web Vitals optimisation.
Experience integrating email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or MailerLite.
Experience Required
Minimum 2 to 3 years of active, hands-on web design experience.
Portfolio showing at least 5 live websites or landing pages personally designed and launched.
Agency or client-facing experience is a strong advantage.

Site performance: load speed, mobile responsiveness, uptime.
Internal page conversion improvements on key landing pages.
Compensation Structure
₦150,000 base salary.
Performance incentives tied to delivery quality and output milestones.
Salary review based on demonstrated results over time.
