Vessel Navigation and Communication Technician

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair communication and navigation equipment on vessels
• Perform routine and periodic communication and navigation equipment
• Installation of navigation and communication equipment
• Use of necessary engineering resources to support product selection and recommendation.

Requirements:

• This position is open preferably to a male candidate and Physically Fit/Strong.
• Academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree/ graduate of Electrical and Electronic Engineering 
• 2 years and above experience in electrical installations and troubleshooting
• The candidate must be able to work independently without supervision.
• General smartness and keenness to knowledge.
• Ability to speak good Oral English.
• Self-starting multitasked who easily adapts to rapid change
• General electronics troubleshoot
• History of sound judgment under deadline pressure
• Skilled at nurturing client relationships
• Experience filing out and submitting detailed reports
• Committed to preserving client and business confidentiality
• Quality-oriented
• Driven to achieve
• Keen attention to details
• No Phobia for Sea or Boat rides.

NOTE: Fresh graduates will also be considered, however, this is due to the practicality of the individual during the internal interview

Remuneration: NGN 100,000 - 150,000
