Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to ensure quality standards and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-sourced tools
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- After resolving bugs, ensure extensive regression testing is performed.
- Measure and analyze QA data points like defect density and outstanding defect totals.
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing, and automated testing tools
- Proficiency in programming languages, testing tools, and version control systems.
- Proficient in developing and implementing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with various automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Prior experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
- Experience in uncovering defects through sharp problem-solving and meticulous testing practices.
Location: Remote
Remuneration: NGN 500,000 (non-negotiable)
